OHIO VALLEY OPRY
The Ohio Valley Opry: Celebrating Over Two Decades of Entertainment
Since 2000, the Ohio Valley Opry (OVO) has been delighting audiences at the historic Twin City Opera House in McConnelsville. Founded by Marvin and Deana Clark, the OVO showcases a mix of traditional country, bluegrass, and gospel music, offering a heartfelt and authentic experience for all who attend.
What sets the OVO apart is its genuine charm. While the musical performances are polished to perfection, the interactions on stage remain refreshingly unpretentious. Guest vocalist introductions often feel like casual chats among friends, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflects the sense of community shared by the band and the audience.
Combining elements of a traditional variety show with the spirit of classic country music, the OVO features a rotating lineup of talented performers from local, regional, and national stages. The band’s approach blends professional-quality entertainment with a neighborly touch, endearing them to audiences far and wide.
Over the past 24 years, the Ohio Valley Opry has entertained thousands of guests, becoming a cherished tradition in the Appalachian foothills of Ohio.
While 2024 marks the final season of OVO performances at the Twin City Opera House, exciting changes are on the horizon! In 2025, the OVO will move to its new home at the OVO Theater in Belpre, Ohio, bringing its legacy of heartfelt music and community spirit to a brand-new stage. Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this next chapter of the Ohio Valley Opry!
